We survived
Nov. 1st, 2006 03:08 pm... the first Halloween in our own house, with all the creaking noises, the wind roaring outside and a couple of drunk teenagers vomiting their guts out in the street below.
Being the new ones in the street I didn't want to make a bad first impression and had stocked up on sweets for the "incredible number of kids" that go trick-or-treat-ing in this area, like the neighbours have assured me over and over again.
Nessuno. Nada. Nobody. That's how many people came. I guess we will just have to eat our way through 10 pounds worth of Haribo on our own. Or wait until St. Martin's Day.
Burp!
